Four Forest Management Units (FMU) of Central Sulawesi (Kulawi, Banawa Lalundu, Dolago Tanggunung, Sintuwu Maroso) and Lore Lindu National Park discussed and improved their developed short-term forest management plan for 2018 on 19 September in Palu, Central Sulawesi. The developed plans have been prepared after a series of four workshops in July to September which were organized by the Provincial Forestry Service, supported by FORCLIME.

Output of the event is a final version of a short-term forest management plan for FMUs, located in the buffer zone of Lore Lindu Biosphere Reserve. The respective plan will be submitted to the head of the respective FMUs and the Head of Provincial Forest Service for approval.
