2021 12 28 Integrasi web MRV Kalbar dg web nasional jum 1

In order to follow up on efforts to integrate monitoring and reporting systems (MRV) at the sub-national and national levels that took place in early December 2021, the West Kalimantan Provincial Forestry and Environment Service (Dinas LHK) held another meeting on 28 December 2021. This activity was organised by Dinas LHK in collaboration with FORCLIME and Project FIP-1, and was attended by 20 participants who were representing the West Kalimantan Provincial Government (Dinas LHK, Bappeda); the Directorate of Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (IGRK MPV); the Directorate General of Climate Change Control; members of the West Kalimantan REDD+ Working Group (Pokja REDD+) and various development partners.

During the meeting, representatives from Dit IGRK MPV, Mr. Wawan Gunawan and Budiharto, provided input and discussed their notes, particularly in relation to improvements to the uses and types of maps, as well as improvements to various types of data with an eye on integrating them into national sites that are currently still under development.

"The integration of the MRV website at the sub-national (West Kalimantan) and the national (Ministry of Environment and Forestry) levels is important so that data and information relating to emissions reduction activities collected by the West Kalimantan REDD+ Working Group is directly integrated into the system created by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry,” explained Mrs. Yenny, S.Hut., MT, a member of the West Kalimantan REDD+ Working Group.
