The Forestry Service of East Kalimantan Province conducted a meeting with the relevant parties playing an important role in the Forest Management Unit (KPH) development in East Kalimantan Province. The event held from May 7 to 11 in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, was one of meeting series related to the preparation of the KPH Business Strategic Plan, including drafting the Short-term Forest Management Plan (RPHJPd) and developing trading commodity plan. Through the meeting series, participants are expected to be able to improve their insights and practical knowledge and skills, so that FMUs can do business independently. 50 participants taking part at the event were representatives from the Provincial Forestry Service, KPHs in East Kalimantan, the technical implementation units of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Regional Council on Climate Change, Mulawarman University, and some NGOs operating in East Kalimantan.
